Meeting Preparation
Get the Zoom Client
If you don’t already have the zoom client go to the zoom website https://zoom.us/, then open the resources menu at the top right and click on download Zoom client, when you get to the next page, choose the one at the top – Zoom client for meetings.
Test your microphone and speakers
Click on the link you have been sent – follow the onscreen instructions (wait until prompted and then click ‘run’ to launch the zoom app – this may be slightly different depending on what web browser you use). Once joined the initial screen has the option to test speaker and microphone settings.
Follow the prompts and suggestions to test both microphone and speakers prior to the meeting. Allow plenty of time for troubleshooting – don’t wait until the meeting is starting.
